Most aspirants begin their preparation with advanced books, coaching notes, current affairs magazines, and test series. However, many soon realize that despite studying extensively, they struggle to connect concepts and develop a clear understanding of subjects.

The reason is simple: no great structure can stand without a strong foundation. Before understanding complex topics like governance, economy, international relations, or environment, one must first master the fundamentals. These fundamentals are best learned through the NCERT textbooks.

अधिकांश अभ्यर्थी अपनी तैयारी की शुरुआत मोटी-मोटी पुस्तकों, कोचिंग नोट्स, करंट अफेयर्स और टेस्ट सीरीज़ से करते हैं। लेकिन कुछ समय बाद उन्हें यह महसूस होता है कि बहुत कुछ पढ़ लेने के बावजूद विषयों की मूलभूत समझ विकसित नहीं हो पाई है और विभिन्न विषयों को आपस में जोड़कर समझना कठिन लग रहा है।
